Motivation Monday!

Motivation is always good. Everyone needs that little reminder, no matter who you are. 

After a very long, fun, yet un-productive weekend, I really need to look at how far I have come with school instead of focusing on how much I have left. So this quote is just a little reminder for myself (and hopefully y'all) to just focus on how far you have come!

Vests!

I've noticed recently that everyone seems to be into vests for this Fall and Winter. 

I am not complaining, I think vests can totally transform a look! Plus they keep you all nice and toasty warm!

Fall (has been) here!

Okay, maybe I am just a little late. 

Cause Fall officially began in like late September? Im extremely late actually!

But, In my defense it hasn't been "fall weather" until now. 

And I am sooo excited! I absolutely love fall. Like its ridiculous. 

I love the clothes, the colors of the leaves, and the redness your cheeks get when you step outside.

I'm not gonna rant about "fall fashion" cause my love of oversized scarves might get annoying. So instead I thought I would let y'all know about my favorite fall activities! 

1. Pumpkins.

 I love carving pumpkins. I like making them have cute faces, and the way they look on the front porch! 

How cute is my pumpkin this year? She has a bow, naturally. I just have to show it off! 

2. Corn Mazes & Haunted Houses

I love corn mazes, I like to pretend that I am in the amazing race or something, and we always have a race to see who's group makes it out first, it brings out my competitive side! 

However, I am not one for haunted houses, haunted hayrides or anything "haunted". I don't like to be scared, especially by people I don't know in scary masks. Just not my thing!

3. Tailgating!

Fall means college football. College football means... A very happy Rachal. 

Especially cheering on those South Carolina Gamecocks! 

4. Foliage

The North Carolina mountains during peak week? Seriously, y'all have to check it out! So beautiful!

5. The state fair!

For many Fall means, the state fair is back in town. While it is not my thing, many of my friends love it. So it just had to be included! 

Those are just a few of mine and my friends favorite things to do once fall rolls around! Let me know what y'all love to do during this beautiful season as well, I'd love to know!

Mondays are offically my "bum" days.

I'm not saying I "hate" Mondays. 

I feel like hate is a very strong word, and I dont want to wish my days away. However, Monday is my least favorite day of the week. I lay in the bed in the mornings until the very last second till I HAVE to get up. By the time my feet hit the floor, I just am not in any kind of mood to put effort into my appearance. Which are why Mondays are my bum days. 

With that being said, I dont pull out my ugliest pair of sweats and biggest t-shirt I have. My idea of "bum" is a shirt, jeans and basic shoes. No accessories, nothing fancy.

Today I bummed it in a plaid shirt, leggings and flats, with a huge scarf of course! It was cold! 

I guess with this post what I am trying to say is, it is okay for Mondays to be your bum days too! 

And if Mondays are your "bum" days too, let me know! Hopefully I am not the only one!

• What are your favorite colors?: Honestly, I (almost) never wear bold, bright colors. My wardrobe is very neutral, mainly black, gray, white and beiges. So boring! 
• What is your fashion philosophy?: Less is more!
• Describe your style: It doesnt really have a word! It is more of how I am feeling. If I am feeling bold, I might put on a Lilly dress. But if I am feeling lazy and tired it could be a oversized sweater and jeans! It all depends. 
• What current trends do you like?: I LOVEEE fall fashion! I cannot wait for riding boots and huge scarves! I am in heaven in the neutral colors! 
• What old trends do you think should come back?: I have a huge softspot for bellbottoms and I would looovee if people started wearing them again! I think they look so classy with heels and a plain shirt and blazer! 
• Do you like accessories?: More like LOVE! I do not feel complete unless I have a watch on! I also love necklaces and making a stack on your wrist! 
• What kind of shoes do you like?: Riding boots & Jack Rogers. I could only own these shoes and be alright. 
• Describe your dream outfit: Tight jeans, Riding boots, Baggy shirt, and oversized sweater.
• Ever wanted to be a fashion designer?: The thought has crossed my mind, but I like to pull from so many other designers, so I think I would like to be a personal shopper or something instead!
• Do you like matchy matchy, or mix and match?: Matchy Matchy! I love mixed patterns on other people, but I cant pull it off! Kudos to yall who can! 
• Do you think it’s too expensive to be trendy?: Hmmm, Im not really sure. It all depends. 
• If you had a fashion budget of 1 million dollars, where would you shop, and why? I WISH! Probably J.crew! Why? Their clothes are so verstatile and you could just make so many outfits, and have you seen them? they are so cute! 
• Who is your fashion guru?: My gigi! 
• What is the most important piece in your wardrobe?: I think basic t-shirts are very important! You can dress them up, dress them down, and they just work with everything! 
• The second most important?:  A good cami! 
• What one piece are you dying to add to your wardrobe?: I am really lusting after Tory Burch riding boots! 
• What is the most money you have spent on a pair of jeans?: I have no idea!

The sad thing is, I dont even have an excuse for not blogging, I dont really know why I haven't.
